Liantang/Heung Yuen Wai Boundary Control Point Site Formation and Infrastructural Project
Effect picture of the Project
The construction of the project started on June 24, 2015. It mainly consists of construction of an approximately 4.6km long dual two-lane connecting road (with about 0.6km of at-grade roads, 3.3km of viaducts and 0.7km of tunnel) connecting the BCP with the proposed Sha Tau Kok Interchange and the associated tunnel ventilation buildings, one sewage treatment and other relevant works. LianTang Boundary Control Point is the sixth land border port between Shenzhen and Hong Kong, being the hub of cross-border freight and passenger transportation. The construction of LianTang Heung Yuen Wai Boundary Control Point is helpful in strengthening the trading among Zhujiang River Delta, Hong Kong and Macau, and integrating the cities' development space.
